Summer Lee is a showbiz name

We know the majority of what our government does on a daily basis is a tremendous waste, but there’s a certain personality type in congress that literally does *nothing* but waste the American people’s money and time; a creation of the state that believes they can win via censorship, drowning out voices they disagree with, and other procedural tactics preferred by the petulant child.

Summer Lee is just one of these talented folks.

You may wonder how so many of them came to positions of power, but first you may ask what a person like this is even fighting for? Who in 2023 would still be arguing that men should have the sanctioned right to compete in women’s sports? The answer is no serious person argues this in good faith anymore. It’s part of a “binder full of grievances” that come as a package, most of which are designed to undermine “normative” values and standards, as part of a total dismantling of “hegemonic” power.

Straight white cis power.

In this package there’s no real love for transgender athletes, just as there’s no real love for children gunned down in Chicago every weekend, just as there’s no love for “the planet,” just as there’s no love for “Palestine,” or a genuine desire for harmony in America, or peace on Earth.

This is a career, and in this career you aren’t embarrassed when you make a total, despicable fool of yourself time and again, because it’s become an accepted and known bullet point of the job description. It’s Revolution, after all.

You can call it leftism or cluster B if you like, but it’s a great deal more than that, it’s a specific brand of performative talent reminiscent of child stars, infomercial hosts, illusionists.

This is showbiz.

I don’t know how much longer these people will get away with it, but I know fewer and fewer Americans are willing to tolerate it every single day.
